Error: "Input string was not in a correct format." Seen In Microsoft Project XML Export Log File From PPM Database (Doc ID 2648952.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to export a project to MSP XML 2013, the following error occurs.

ERROR

On Screen:

"Completed with Errors, see log file"

Log:

Prism.Modularity.ModuleInitializeException: An exception occurred while initializing module 'CommandLineModule'.
  - The exception message was: One or more errors occurred.
  - The Assembly that the module was trying to be loaded from was:Primavera.Mercury.CommandLineModule, Version=18.8.X.X, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null
  Check the InnerException property of the exception for more information. If the exception occurred while creating an object in a DI container, you can exception.GetRootException() to help locate the root cause of the problem.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Sign in to P6 Pro Client.
  2. Modify User Preferences to select a currency that uses a non-integer exchange rate.
  3. Step through exporting the project to Microsoft Project XML.
  4. Errors displayed on screen and in logs.
