Why Does Clearance Reset Injector Throw ONLY_ONE_EFFECTIVE_DATE_ALLOWED_PER_BATCH Error? (Doc ID 2649645.1)

Goal

Need to understand why does the Clearance Reset injector (Event Type: NR ) not support multiple effective-dates in one batch execution? All staged records throw an error with status 'F' (ONLY_ONE_EFFECTIVE_DATE_ALLOWED_PER_BATCH).

Why is this restriction only to the Event Type NR? No other Event Types such as Price Change, Clearance, and, Simple Promotion have this.
