Symptoms


Timesheet Query: Estimated Start From Date must be on or before estimated start to date

When searching for a data range in the timesheet query users receive the following error. "Estimated Start From Date must be on or before estimated start to date" Customer researched the query zones W1-TIMSTQ1 and W1-TIMSTQ2. The From and To dates are defined as F4 and F3 but when they are passed into the script W1-ValTSIFtr, which validates the values, they are reversed.

ERROR
Estimated Start From Date must be on or before estimated start to date


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Menu > Work Management > Timesheet > Search
2. Search by Timesheet Information (unrestricted)
3. Populate Create Date Range with from date earlier than to date.
4. Click Search
5. Error ‘Estimated Start From Date must be on or before Estimated Start To Date.’ displayed
