SET_PRODINFO Opcode And PIN_CYCLE_FEES Both Reversing the Cycle Charges (Doc ID 2652913.1)

Last updated on APRIL 03, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

PCM_OP_SUBSCRIPTION_SET_PRODINFO opcode is reversing the cycle charges once end date is set. Infact for cycle_forward_quarterly event.Observed the SET_PRODINFO opcode is returning charges twice and then the pin_cycle_fees. So all together the reversal happens thrice.

Steps to reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an account with cycle product. It will charge say 150$ for first month.
2. Bill the customer.
3. UPDATE operation where we do set_prodinfo of the existing cycle product. In this case observed the cycle charges are reversed on this stage itself.
4. Execute pin_cyclc_fees and it reverses the charges again. So there is a double reversal seen here which should not happen.

How to overcome this scenario?
