Question on Read Consumption Batch Response

Until OHI 3.18, the read consumption batch IP was file based where the response file would be placed in a folder path for the consumer to pick.
In OHI 3.19, the read consumption batch IP has been REST enabled and the response file is now provided to the consumer as a datafileset that holds a reference of the result of the Read Consumption Batch. The consumer then makes a direct datastream access call to the Consumption Data File to read the response data.
Since the volume of data that has to be read from the data file can become quite extensive and has the potential to encounter issues related to bulk payload transfer, we would like to know if there is/could be an option of writing the response data file contents into a physical folder path from where the downstream process could pick the data.
