How To Connect to P6 Professional Using ODBC When Connecting Using a SQLite Database (Doc ID 2657058.1)

Last updated on MARCH 30, 2022

Applies to:

Primavera P6 Professional Project Management - Version 18.8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When using P6 Professional 18 or higher with a SQLite database there are no integration tools available to read data from the P6 database. The Integration API and P6 Web Services which are typically used to integrate with P6 do not work with SQLite. The Primavera SDK was available prior to version 18, but has been removed post Primavera P6 18. If it is required to pull data out of P6 for external reporting, one possible solution is to use the SQLite ODBC driver.

Note : Any third-party driver should only be used to read data from P6. Updating data in the P6 database can corrupt the database.
