Transaction Error On Renewed ASO Policy

Renewing an ASO policy seems to be creating a new contract (CI_SA) for the new policy and causing transactions on the new policy to error-out in TFM C1-TXNEX batch with the following error:
“Multiple contracts in Active, Pending Stop, Stop status exists for same contract type against account %1, product %2 and transaction date %3” (17000/2025)."
How can this be resolved?
