XITEM Modifaction Message for Barcode Items With Perishable Indicator As Y Fails in RIB (Doc ID 2664640.1)

Symptoms

XITEM modification message for barcode item fails if the item has PERISHABLE_IND = 'Y' in RMS.

ERROR
-----------------------
ORA-20001: Invalid value.PERISHABLE_IND,ITEM:BOO_5045091891637 returned by program unit CORESVC_ITEM.PROCESS_CHUNK.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create a barcode item for a perishable tran level item (PERISHABLE_IND = 'Y') in RMS. Notice that PERISHABLE_IND set to 'Y' for barcode item also.
  2. Create a item modification message for barcode item.
  3. Try to process the message and notice the below error:
    ORA-20001: Invalid value.PERISHABLE_IND,ITEM:BOO_5045091891637 returned by program unit CORESVC_ITEM.PROCESS_CHUNK.
