Latitude and Longitude Values Do Not Work with an Entered Address in the Shell Detail Form (Doc ID 2667237.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

After entering an address into the Shell Detail form Lat/Long / Map window, the address is mapped to different location.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The address should be mapped to the location specified by the Latitude and Longitude values.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps.

  1. Navigate to a project shell in Unifier and click the "Home" screen for it (first item in the Navigation menu - top left).
  2. In the top right of the dashboard, click on the ... icon and open the Details window > General tab
  3. Scroll down to the Location block.
  4. Find the Latitude field with the Map Pin icon, click it to open the Map window.
  5. Type the desired address (ex. '<street address>, <state>, <country>, <zip/postal code>') and click the Map Pin icon again to map it.
  6. The address will be found in the wrong location.
