Allocation Number Changes Pre/post Calculation When Using Quick Create What If Allocation

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When using the 'Quick Create' function in Allocation to create a "What If" Allocation, the allocation number assigned during the process when going to "Allocation Maintenance" changes, which is misleading and confusing.
Steps to replicate:
1. Click on “Quick Create” in Allocation application side bar
2. Enter Source = “What If”, enter an item and enter Next = “Allocation Maintenance” and press OK .
3. Notice the Allocation Number assigned in the “What If Allocation NNNNNN” tab. Since we are in Allocation Maintenance, this is the implied Allocation number that should be used throughout (i.e. pre/post calculation). Enter Locations and Policies and click OK .
4. Notice after the Allocation has been calculated it has been assigned a new allocation number.
