(Doc ID 2671591.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 25, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Offline Mediation Controller - Version 6.0.0.3.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In a product system it was observed that there was high usage suspense majorly due to bulk Short Message Service (SMS) coming concurrently from two members who belong to same sharing group, where both are trying to get a lock on the sharing group owner in parallel and it is causing suspense as one of it could not get lock with the retry limit. Even if one moves old files and tries to process them in batches, as new files of same two numbers are coming as well, it is suspending them.
Steps to reproduce:
- Created a Charge Offering (CO) with TeloGsmSms
- Created a Charge sharing object in Pricing Design Center (PDC)
- Created four accounts parent1, child1, child2 and child3 with above CO
- Associated all the three child account to parent account for charge sharing
- Processed 8250 records
Observation: 2453 records failed with error CUSTOMER_IN_TRANSACTION and moved to Suspense.
