DP Servers Going Down Immediately After Start Up (Doc ID 2671951.1)

Symptoms

DP Server goes down in few seconds after restart. Behavior is same even after multiple restarts.

While trying to run a query to access v$session, hit an error saying:

SYS.LOGON trigger was invalid. It did not fetch any results. (This same query was executing against another instance correctly).

 

Changes

  SYS.LOGON trigger got created recently to track some invalid login attempts which is locking APPS account sometimes.
