DUCR Node Answer Time Calculation Causing Rating Failures And Incorrect VWS EDR For Data (Doc ID 2673190.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC) 12.0.2.0.0 version,

Direct Unit Charge Request (DUCR) Node causing rating failures and incorrect Voucher and Wallet Server (VWS) Event Detail Records (EDRs) while calculating Answer Time for Data calls.

The DUCR node gets the call answer time using call duration which is generally fine for voice calls, but it is not correct for data sessions as the duration is not directly related to time.  Here the ACS gets the call Answer Time as below,
