P6 Web --> EPS Page AND/OR Projects --> Activities Pages Do Not Load. The 3 Dots Icon Continues to Spin. (Doc ID 2674131.1)

Specific users are not able to access the P6 Web --> EPS page or the Projects --> Activities page.
The pages do not load. The 3 dots icon continues to spin.


This occurs randomly for only SOME users. Example: User A does not have the same issue when following same steps as User B - the same project is opened and the activities page loads within 30 seconds.  Determination:  The issue is user specific.

If User B logs in on User A's machine (with their own username / password), they are able to reproduce the issue.  Determination:  The issue is not machine specific.

The user has tested with Chrome or IE - same issue with both browsers.  Determination:  The issue is not browser specific.

Multiple heavy admin users have random issues with pages not loading (Example: EPS or Project --> Activities).

There are no problems with timesheets for any user. Issues are specific to the Web application when loading schedules.


Schedules should load successfully any time for all users.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to P6Web --> EPS as one of the affected users.
  2. Open a project.
  3. Access Projects --> Activities page.
  4. Observer the page does not load. The 3 dots icon continues to spin.
