Complex Deal Dates At Header Level And Detail Level Are Not Same When Deal Close Date Is Modified (Doc ID 2676966.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

When a complex deal is created for the first time and approved, the start and close dates in the deal_head table and the deal_detail tables are in sync and aligned. However, if the close date of the deal was changed after bringing the deal to worksheet status and saved, the close date in the deal_head table takes the new end date but the close date in the deal_detail table still holds the old date. Due to this, the tables are out of sync.

Steps to Reproduce :

  1.  Create and approve deal.
  2.  Run Deal Batches fcthreadexec/fcexec/ditinsrt.
  3.  Check the data in deal_head, deal_detail, deal_item_loc_explode.
  4.  Set deal to worksheet and edit deal and update start/end date.
  5.  Approve deal.
  6.  Run Deal Batches fcthreadexec/fcexec/ditinsrt.
  7. Notice start/end date is correctly updated in deal_item_loc_explode but not in deal_detail.
