OutBound Email Test Fails With Error - "Unrecognized SSL message,plaintext connection" (Doc ID 2680024.1)

Symptoms

 Outbound Email Test fails
 When trying to connect to Email Server from Unifier Configurator it throws error and Test Failed.

ERROR
-----------------------

javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host : XXXX :port:465
nested exception is :
 javax.net.ssl.SSLException :Unrecognized SSL message,plaintext connection ?

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Test Outbound Email in Unifier Configurator
2.Observe Error
