Question Creating JSON During A ClaimCalloutRequest (Doc ID 2680464.1)

Last updated on JUNE 16, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Health Insurance Claims Adjudication - Version 3.20.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When trying groovy.json.JsonBuilder(claim) in a ClaimCalloutRequest there was a stack overflow: the claim line references the claim.

In attempting to use groovy.json.JsonGenerator.Options to exclude fields, it seems that is only available in Groovy 3.0.2 onward; the Groovy installed with ADF 2.4.11.

There are two questions:
1) Is it possible to upgrade the Groovy installation? The latest Weblogic service pack (12.2.1.4.0) seems to be Groovy 2.5.6
2) Are there any functions within OHI that can be used during a ClaimCalloutRequest to build a JSON representation of a Claim like what the API produces?
