Convergence 3.0.2.2 - The Signature Is Garbled
(Doc ID 2681045.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 14, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 3.0.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On Convergence 3.0.2.2 it was observed that setting up a signature that contains full width and half width characters will show up correctly in the signature creation window, but it will show up as garbled in the new message compose window. The receiving party can see the signature non-garbled.
e.g:
The following signature is set up:
-------------------
:
:
12345
あいうえお
aiueo
-------------------
The signature will look like this when a new mail is composed:
-------------------
":
:
12345
あいうえお
aiueo"
-------------------
The problem will only manifest itself if the user did not enable the option for rich text composition in the Convergence preferences.
Changes
Upgraded to Convergence 3.0.2.2.
