Field LAST_RECV_SIG_INFO_DATE_DV Is Currently Calculated to Use the Maximum Receive Date, Rather Than Expected Last Receive Date (Doc ID 2681455.1)

Last updated on JUNE 19, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Argus Mart - Version 8.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Currently the PRE_SM_CASE.LAST_RECV_SIG_INFO_DATE_DV field is populated with max(receipt_date) from rm_case_followup.

This is correct by design in current code, per below example where value 7-Jan-20 is selected regardless of order inserted.

SM_CASE Data
Receipt Date last_recv_sig_info_date_dv
1-Jan-20 1-Jan-20
5-Jan-20 5-Jan-20
7-Jan-20 7-Jan-20
6-Jan-20 7-Jan-20

There are some scenarios where this is not desirable i.e. where dates were entered outside of date order per example below:

SM_CASE Data
Receipt Date last_recv_sig_info_date_dv
1-Jan-20 1-Jan-20
5-Jan-20 5-Jan-20
7-Jan-20 7-Jan-20
6-Jan-20 6-Jan-20
