Error: "Invalid user name or password. Please try again" When Logging into P6 Professional Using Two or More LDAP Server Connections (Doc ID 2681603.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to login to P6 Professional configured for two or more LDAP Authentication connections, the following error occurs.

Invalid user name or password. Please try again.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Configure LDAP authentication for two or more AD servers in P6 EPPM.
  2. Login is successful in P6 Web.
  3. Login fails in P6 Professional with the reported error.
  4. Login is successful using P6 Pro /nocache flag.
