After sorting on a Listing column, the focus points back to the first column
(Doc ID 2683379.1)
Last updated on JULY 01, 2020
Applies to:
Oracle Health Sciences Data Management Workbench - Version 2.5.0 to 2.5.0 [Release 2.5.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The issue is in DMW 2.5 where the sorting of a Listing column by the user refreshes the screen, but then the focus goes back to the first column in the Listing. This requires the user to scroll back to the sorted column. It's expected that it would stay with the focus on the sorted column as was the case in DMW 2.4.8.4.
Steps to reproduce:
1. The user navigates to Data Management and selects Listings. User selects a Data Model and then selects a table. The Data Model data is displayed.
2. User scrolls to the right on the Data Model table until reaching a <COLUMN_NAME> column that needs to be sorted. Do not click on any cell in the displayed table.
3. User creates the following expression without clicking on any cell in the table: <COLUMN_NAME> = "000100001" (use any valid column value). Execute the expression by clicking on the Spy Glass icon.
4. The Find will be executed, but the screen will refresh back to the first column in the table instead of the column being searched by the user. It was expected that the screen would focus on the column being searched upon completion of the Find execution.
