EPM 6.x and Infrastructure 7.3.x Products Have Reached Sustaining Support

As of June 2020, the following products have reached Sustaining Support. This includes all 6.0.x /7.3 versions of the EPM applications listed below. The following OFSAA products are covered by this:

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFSAAI) -  Extended Support ended in Feb 2020
Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT) - Extended Support ended in Mar 2020
Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) - Extended Support ended in Mar 2020
Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM) - Extended Support ended in Mar 2020
Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) previously known as Oracle Financial Services Data Warehouse (FSDW) 7.3 - Extended Support ended in Apr 2020
Oracle Financial Services Hedge Management and IFRS Valuations (HM/IFRS) - Extended Support ended in Mar 2020
Oracle Financial Services Price Creation and Discovery (PCD) previously known as Oracle Financial Services Pricing Management, Transfer Pricing Component (PRICEMGMT) - Extended Support ended in Mar 2020

 

Note: All EPM 6.1 versions are now also in sustaining support as of Feb 2021.  It is advised to make immediate plans to upgrade to one of the latest 8.x versions of all OFSAA applications.

 

Sustaining Support Policies

As program releases under Sustaining Support are no longer fully supported, information and skills regarding those releases may be limited. The availability of hardware systems to run such program releases may also be limited.
Program releases eligible for Sustaining Support will receive Software Update License & Support limited to the following:
• Program updates, fixes, security alerts, and critical patch updates created during Premier Support and Extended Support (if offered and only after the Extended Support period ends)
• Tax, legal, and regulatory updates (availability may vary by country and/or program) created during Premier Support and Extended Support (if offered and only after the Extended Support Period ends)
• Upgrade scripts (availability may vary by program) created during Premier Support and Extended Support (if offered and only after the Extended Support Period ends)
• Major product and technology releases, if and when made available at Oracle’s discretion, which may include general maintenance releases, selected functionality releases, and documentation updates
• Assistance with service requests, on a commercially reasonable basis, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week
• Access to the customer support systems specified in the Web-Based Customer Support Systems section (24 x 7 web -based customer support systems), including the ability to log service requests online.
• Non-technical customer service during normal business hours

Sustaining Support does not include:
• New program updates, fixes, security alerts, and critical patch updates
• New tax, legal, and regulatory updates
• New upgrade scripts
• Certification with new third party products/versions
• 24 hour commitment and response guidelines for Severity 1 service requests
• Previously released fixes or updates that Oracle no longer supports

 

Oracle recommends that any customer electing to remain on OFSAA 6.x/7.3.x products:

Maintain compliance with 3rd party software and versions. Oracle will be only be able to provide limited assistance for solutions that are not certified.
Retain staff familiar with the product and version being run in production.
