Why is SIM asking for the item to scan After in micro sequence?

The following steps reveal where one is asked to scan After Item:
1) 1- Sequence Item
2) Scan / enter Item Toasted Oats
3) 1- Add Location
4) Select location from list: End Cap 1
5) Enter details (capacity, width)
6) SIM asks for item to scan After.
