Last updated on OCTOBER 12, 2020

Applies to:

Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management - Version 17.12.15.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When choosing to run a Project Scheduled Service (PSS), to Export to XML manually, this creates an ASAP job that does not place the file in the subfolder specified.

Instead, it places it in the default \ExportedFiles location, and the file cannot be located after the export is complete.

This, in turn, causes the error when attempting to download the file via the the Primavera P6 - Scheduled Status page.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When choosing to run a PSS to Export to XML manually, the ASAP job should place the file in the subfolder specified, allowing download of the file via the Primavera P6 - Scheduled Status page.

ADDITIONAL

Automatic processing of this service runs correctly, placing the XML file in the subfolder specified.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Project Scheduled Service to Export to XML and configure it with a subfolder.
2. Run the service manually.
3. Observe it creates an ASAP job, but, does not place the file in the subfolder specified, instead it places it in the default \ExportedFiles location.
4. This then causes the "File not found in the server. Please contact your administrator." when attempting to download the file via the the Primavera P6 - Scheduled Status page.
