Applies to:
Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 12.0.0.3.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Given the following business scenario:
- two plans subscriber can purchase together: Day plan and Night Unlimited plan
- Day plan contains a 40 GB quota per month for which the default un-throttled speed is 10 mbps; after the 40 GB limit is reached, speed is throttled to 512 kbps
- Night plan contains a 200 GB per month for which the default un-throttled speed is 10 mbps (the two plans will always share the same speed); after the 200 GB limit is reached, speed is throttled to 1 Mbps
There is a business requirement subscriber to be able to change the un-throttled speed to any integer value between 1 and 100 Mbps, at his choice. This new speed will apply for both Day and Night plans.
After 40 GB (Day plan) or 200 GB (Night Plan) limits will be reached, speed will be throttled the same (as if customer didn't change the default speed): to 512 kbps during the day, and 1 Mbps during the night.
