SIM Non-Sellable Items Stock on Hand Shows Different Values in Different Screens (Doc ID 2691222.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 16.0.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

For Non Sellable Complex pack items, the Item Lookup screen shows Available SOH (Stock On Hand) as a null value; in the Item Request screen, however, SIM evaluates the item's available SOH based on its components.
The item is not marked as Store Pack Inventory.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in to SIM.
2. Pick a non-sellable item with 0 SOH (in STORE_ITEM_STOCK).
3. Perform an Item Lookup in SIM. Observe the Total qty and Available SOH is blank.
4. Use the same item, lookup in Item request screen in Add Item and check the 'Available SOH'.
5. Notice that form is displaying an estimated value. Ex: ~15.
