Searching for List in Java Client Gives "No result found" with ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException in Java Console (Doc ID 2691785.1)

Symptoms

Unable to locate List in Java Client with below error in the java console:

Error

ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

 

Fact

It was working before, and started to happen suddenly


Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into Java Client as admin user, and go to Admin tab > Settings > Data Settings > Lists
2. Select Filter By: Name, Show All for and Apply
3. Gets: No Result Found
4. Goto Data Settings > Classes, and open Part class and goto User Interface Tabs > Page Two > Attributes and open any List attribute in use
5. Do not see any list configured in the List field
