Details
The Oracle Utilities Application Framework based products support a wide range of browsers currently supported by their respective vendors. With each release of the Oracle Utilities Application Framework based products, each product is tested with a current version of the browsers available at the time of release, on the supported platforms to ensure consistent support.
To ensure lowest risk and lower costs associated with browser deployments the following is recommended:
- The enterprise versions of the browsers are highly recommended for use with the products as they have been optimized for business use with greater security control, instrumentation support and more efficient enterprise deployment including disabling automatic updates for stability purposes. The following enterprise editions are supported for use with Oracle Utilities Application Framework products:
- Google Chrome for Enterprise (formerly Chrome For Business)
- Microsoft Edge for Business (Edge Chromium) - Select versions of Oracle Utilities Application Framework only. Refer to the Certification Matrix for Oracle Utilities Products (Doc Id: 1454143.1) available from My Oracle Support for details.
- Mozilla Firefox Extended Support Releases (ESR)
- It is not recommended to use non-enterprise versions of these browsers to reduce risk and cost to your enterprise. These versions have not been tested with the Oracle Utilities Application Framework.
- The versions quoted for each release of the Oracle Utilities Application Framework based products represent the minimum versions tested at the time of the release. Customers can upgrade to later versions than quoted. Any issues with those newer versions can be reported through our existing support channels. This policy also applies to relevant Oracle Utilities product versions on Premier Support.
Different versions and browsers are supported with each release of the products. It is recommended that you refer to the Certification Matrix for Oracle Utilities Products (Doc Id: 1454143.1) available from My Oracle Support for details of the browsers and minimum browser versions supported for each individual product.
