CSV Imports Are Failing When the Separator is A Semi-Colon

Symptoms
On Unifier : Version 19.12.5
When creating data by way of CSV file import and using a semi-colon as the separator:
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When the CSV file is imported a Confirmation dialog box pops up that reads 'Import could not be completed. Do you want to download a file with errors shown?'.
However, when the error file is downloaded and viewed there is no error, only the source data.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Data Should be able to be created by way of CSV file import.
If there is an error preventing the upload from completing an Error Message should be returned to the error file.
