P4P_PROJECT_DS.CURRENT_STAGE Field Values Has Trailing Spaces or Truncated to 7 Characters (Doc ID 2696492.1)

Actual Behavior

P4P_PROJECT_DS.CURRENT_STAGE field is getting populated with 7 characters.
When the value contains more than 7 characters then it is getting truncated. If the number of characters is less than 7, then space is getting added at the end of the value.
All the gate related values has trailing spaces. Other values like complete and Terminate are getting trimmed up to 7 characters.
- "Gate 1 "
- "Gate 2 "
- "Gate 3 " ...
- "Stage 1"
- "Stage 2"
- "Stage 3" ...
- "Termina"
- "Complet"

Expected Behavior

P4P_PROJECT_DS.CURRENT_STAGE field to be populated without the trailing space or being truncated so it will show like below:
- "Gate 1"
- "Gate 2"
- "Gate 3" ...
- "Stage 1"
- "Stage 2"
- "Stage 3" ...
- "Terminate"
- "Complete"


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run Stage ETL
2. Log into sqlplus and run below sql:
