OC and RDC Reports Faill When Using A Windows Share As The Output Directory With 'SecurityHelper:start Write directory configured does not exist or is not writeable' (Doc ID 2696801.1)

The reports work fine when we use a local drive (EG: $OPA_HOME\log), but obviously when using multiple application servers this won't work so this is the reason why the output needs to be defined as a shared directory.

After setting a shared directory creation of files and directories on it using CMD window and Windows Explorer works using the service account running the Weblogic/Forms and Reports services.

However the Report Server fails to execute the job with the below failing message in the rwserver_diagnostic.log file:
