Error Message on BCC "Item(s) could not be linked to themselves" While Adding Profile Realms to the Site (Doc ID 2697228.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to select the profile realm to the site on BCC the following error occurs.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a new profile realm from /dyn/admin/nucleus/atg/multisite/ProfileRealmManager/
2. In BCC --> Navigate to site administration and select any site to edit
3. Try to select newly created profile realm id from the list displayed and click ‘ok’ to add site profile realm.
