Symptoms

 

 ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Usage session is lost and leads to revenue leakage and user experience impacted.

Error in ecs log: method process threw exception:

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Rating to continue and commit the ongoing usage after the change of charge rate plan product.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Created a daily bundle CO1 on Jan 25th 10:00 2015 which grants 10 tokens on first usage
2. Created a Charge offer CO2 on Jan 25th 10:00 2015 which charges $1 per mb
3. Created an account with above charge offers on Jan 25th 10:00 2015
4. Did the usage as follows
CCR-I at 11:15 2015
CCR-U (0 MB)
CCR-U (20 MB) at Jan 25th 11:20 2015
CCR-U (20 MB) at Jan 25th 11:25 2015
5. cancelled the deal at Jan 25th 11:30 2015
6. Purchased a new deal at Jan 25th 11:30 2015
7. Continue the previous session with the successive update request.
CCR-U (20 MB) at Jan 25th 11:40 2015
CCR-U (20 MB) - Failed with SYSTEM_ERR , DIAMETER_UNABLE_TO_COMPLY (5012)
