ICA Interface - Inbound Call Activity Job (ICAPRC_BJ_100_01) - INCOMING_PROCESS_FILE table not getting updated with the status of the file in column IPF_LOG_DATA. (Doc ID 2700047.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Customer Uploaded a bulk Call Activity file. Executed the batch job ICAPRC_BJ_100_01. But the file failed to load the call activity. No log generated to check for any errors.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

When batch job(ICAPRC_BJ_100_01)  executes, if there is any failure in the upload process of call activity,  system should log the details why it is failed to upload the call activity file

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Place the Call activity in the required folder to upload the same into system
  2. Run ICAPRC_BJ_100_01 batch job
  3. Verify whether system updated any record in the table INCOMING_PROCESS_FILE check the value in IPF_LOG_DATA column

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:

Due to this issue, Users could not upload the call activity details into the system and not able to find the root cause to correct the data in the file.
