Duplicate Reports Generating To Same Destinations (Doc ID 2702710.1)

Last updated on MAY 16, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety - Version 8.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The system generated multiple reports, table entries, and delivered multiple emails at corresponding destination mailboxes despite being for a single version of a given case.

Scenario 1:

For a given case, say USXXXX2020026348, there are two reports scheduled, generated and transmitted for the same version of the case. Also three report files were received at the destination mailbox.

One of these RPT files doesn’t have a corresponding entry in the CMN_REG_REPORTS table or the RPT_PDF table.

The files: '{Portal}-USXXXX2020026348-10-YYY-05-Aug-2020-193838.702.pdf' and '{Portal}-USXXXX2020026348-8-YYY-05-Aug-2020-193126.595.pdf' were received and have corresponding rows in RPT_PDF and in CMN_REG_REPORTS

But the file: '{Portal}-USXXXX2020026348-9-YYY-05-Aug-2020-193829.440.pdf' has no reference in the RPT_PDF table.

Scenario 2:

For some other cases, say  USXXXX2020101722, USXXXX2020125173, BELXXXX2020111466, NLDXXXX2020126980,  there was one follow-up created, one entry both in the CMN_REG_REPORTS and RPT_PDF tables, but two files received in the destination mailbox.

For example for case# USACT2020101722 a single report was scheduled for a destination but two reports were sent.

Scenario 3:

The reports display as if to be picked up by scheduling services two times and to create two reports for the same destination despite having the same case version
