High DB Size For ECE Persistence Schema (Doc ID 2706247.1)

Last updated on JULY 26, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 12.0.0.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

(Elastic Charging Engine) ECE Version = 12.0.0.3.0

The size for ECE schema used for persistence DB is quite high when  compare to BRM pin schema size. There are hardly 100 accounts in the DB.

Enable the persistence and data load and offload rated events continuously.

Data files size is growing initially  when given 16GB of data file for the tablespace and after some period again, increased around 8 GB the total 24GB of tablespace is occupied where as the BRM DB is having less than 5 GB of
data size. It is expected it should not cross ,but  taken as a corner scenario as well by keeping the ratedevent data it should not be more than the 10GB of space in the DB, but actually it is taking more. How to resolve this issue?
