Error 'An application event has been intercepted' and 'Event Code PRMDB-1490-E' While Copying Activities (Doc ID 2706694.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to copy and paste specific activities, the following error occurs.

Event Code: PRMDB-1490-E

Exception EprmDBSQLExecutionFailure in module PM.EXE at 00000000006FC016.
PRM DBAccess Error: ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("ADMUSER"."UDFVALUE"."TABLE_NAME")

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to P6 Professional.
2. Open a project.
3. Attempt to copy and paste an activity.
4. The reported error occurs and P6 Professional crashes.
