Need 64-Bit Version of Pcmif.so and Related Libraries to Support Perl (Doc ID 2707013.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 02, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 12.0.0.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Need 64-bit version of Perl to avoid difficulties with infrastructure deployment.

Following libraries support the Perl interface to Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) and as such should have 64-bit versions:
aes.so
pcmdd.so
pcmif.so

Most of the system is 64-bit now, causing much complexity of management when using 32-bit libraries for things like Perl.
