Goal

Use the Deadband Filter Node to Apply Deadband Filter to Analog Points in Your Dataflow

You can apply a deadband filter to an analog points in your Live Energy Connect (LEC) server configuration so that downstream devices only receive notifications or updates when an analog value changes by a fixed amount or fixed percentage.

In this article, we’ll create an example LEC server configuration that highlights the benefits of using a deadband filter with analog data points in your dataflow.
