Symptoms
On Oracle Healthcare Master Person Index (OHMPI) version 4.0.2.2, Master Index Main Component
ISSUE REPORTED
-------------------
When a long field contains a double quote, the tool tip that is displayed in the MIDM does not show the complete field value. When hovering the mouse over the ellipse (...) at the end of the truncated displayed value, it truncates the value at the first double quote in the field.
Note: If you edit the EUID, you'll be able to see the full value, but the tool tip truncates the value at the double quote.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using the Australian patient data model, use the web services to update the FullName field on the Patient object to a long value that includes a double quote.
For example: <First name>, <Second name> "<Alias>" <Last Name>
2. View the updated EUID in the MIDM. Observe that the display value is truncated (<Firstname>, <Second Name> .... ) and an ellipse is displayed at the end of
the truncated value.
3. Hover the mouse over the ellipse. The tool tip displayed will be "<Firstname>, <Second Name>" -- the rest of the value is missing.
If you edit the EUID, you'll be able to see the full value, but the tool top truncates the value at the double quote.
