Why Is Percent Complete in Microsoft Project (MSP) Different From the Duration Percent Complete in P6? (Doc ID 2713564.1)

Goal

Why is the Percent Complete in Microsoft Project (MSP) different than the Duration % Complete in P6?

For example, in MSP the Percent Complete is 7% whereas the Duration % Complete in P6 is 9%. Even the child WBS elements have different percent complete between Microsoft Project and P6.
