XML ServiceRequest Error Message When Accepting ICSRs with Smiley Character (Doc ID 2715129.1)

Symptoms

User tried to accept an ICSR that contains a smiley character (\3DD8\42DE; Unicode SLIGHTLY SMILING FACE).

After selecting "accept ICSR" the user received the error message "XML ServiceRequest failed" and case was not accepted.



The cmn_error_log did not log an error. The esm_owner.error_log just shows the normal Warning Report records.


ERROR MESSAGES: "XML ServiceRequest failed"
