Resources Do Not Appear in "Assign Resource" Dialog When "Active Resources" Filter Used (Doc ID 2717317.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When assigning resources, resources that user should be able to view according to their Resource Access do not appear when the filter is set to "Active Resources" for "View Resources By" in the "Assign Resource" dialog. Only the top level of the assigned resource hierarchy appears.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to see resources in which user has access to.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into P6 Web.
  2. Assign a non Admin Superuser Resource Access to the top level of an active resource hierarchy.
  3. Log into P6 Web as restricted user.
  4. Open project and assign resource to activity.
  5. Notice that when filter set to "Active Resources" in the "Assign Resource" dialog, only the top level resource appears.
