Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC) 12.0.2.0.0 version

m3ua_if is occasionally crashing with a segmentation fault and dumping core. This is observed when the m3ua_if debug is enabled.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. On NCC 12.0.2 SLC, enable m3ua_if debug to capture the debug.
2. Check if m3ua_if is dumping core after debug is enabled.


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:

The signalling layer will be reset due to this issue, which would have an effect calls in progress on an SLC.
