ORA-12505, TNS:listener Does Not Currently Know Of SID Given In Connect Descriptor

Goal
On : 2.5.0.3.0 version, IP - Installation Upgrade Proc
ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor.
We have a Multi-Tenant DB setup and ORMB 2503 version. During installation errors are observed.
Received the error "java.sql.SQLException: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor"
Have tried the following options and all of them resulted in the same error,
Enter the name of the Oracle Database Connection String::1521:
Enter the name of the Oracle Database Connection String::1521:
Enter the name of the Oracle Database Connection String::1521:
When using CDB name it says invalid username/password (as the CISADM user is created in PDB).
How can this be resolved?
