Trace By a Single Phase Does Not Work From Multi-Phase Device (Doc ID 2720032.1)

Trace by Phase sometimes doesn't work

Found instances where attempts to do a single-phase trace (trace all connected, downstream) from a 3-phase device results in the trace auto-reverting to a 3-phase trace.
Interestingly enough, if I select the 3-phase conductor attached to that device and do the trace from there instead, the single phase trace is done properly.

The trace should remain with the single phase that was selected.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Select a 3-phase switch
Turn Phase coloring on
Open the trace tool
Select All Connected, Downstream, and the A phase checkbox
Hit the trace button
Watch as the A phase checkbox is unchecked, the All phase checkbox is rechecked, and the trace result is all 3 phase
