UserInput Feature Node Causing slee_acs Core (Doc ID 2720437.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 22, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 12.0.3.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C) version 12.0.3, Advanced Control Services (ACS) is a service that allows customers to specify and configure the routing of calls to the telephone numbers of their choice. In combination with the ACS Control Plan Editor (CPE) tools, ACS provides intuitive high-level graphical tools that enable the operator to build services and features incorporating user interaction, call routing and charging features.

In the CPE the User Input (UPC4) node plays an announcement to the subscriber which prompts them for input. It then collects the input and appends it to the configured selection buffer.

There is a issue caused by this node causing the slee_acs process to crash when used in a control plan.

Changes

Create a control plan and insert the User Input node in the flow.
