Symptoms

When attempting to import an XML file with the resource name that contains a trailing space, the following error occurs in P6 Professional:

com.primavera.PrimaveraException:
Errors located:
Resource Id: Unique constraint (Resource Id) violated. The value <value> of the field Resource Id already exists.
at com.primavera.integration.app.importexport.ImportExportAction.f(ImportExportAction.java:584)
at com.primavera.integration.app.importexport.ImportExportAction.b(ImportExportAction.java:262)
at com.primavera.integration.app.importexport.ImportExportMain.main(ImportExportMain.java:36)

When using P6 Professional for EPPM the following error is found in the webaccess log file (P6WebAccess.html):

com.primavera.integration.client.xml.xmlimporter.XMLImporterException:
  Errors located:
  Resource Id: Unique constraint (Resource Id) violated. The value <value> of the field Resource Id already exists.
