When Viewing A Business Process Log with the iOS Mobile Application, the Columns Configured in the BP Log Are Not Displayed In the App As Configured (Doc ID 2721677.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2020

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier - Version 19.12.4.0 and later
Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 19.12.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When viewing a Business Process (BP) Record in the iOS Mobile App (Version 20.10.2) the BP Log does not display the Data Elements as they are configured in uDesigner. For example the BP data elements are displayed in this order in the mobile application BP log:

Data Element 1
Data Element 2
Data Element 3
Data Element 4

However, the design of the mobile log is to have the record fields in a specific order based on settings in both the Standard and Picker logs. Once deployed, the mobile app does not display the expected changes and continues to display the Standard BP data elements.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The BP record should be displayed in the iOS Mobile Application as it is displayed in the desktop view:

Data Element 1
Data Element 5
Data Element 6
Data Element 7
Data Element 8

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier Environment with Desktop browser.
  2. Navigate to Project/Shell where the issue exists > Upper BP Node > Business Process node where the issue is observed.
  3. Note that the BP log is displaying these columns in this order: Data element 1, Data Element 5, Data Element 6, Data Element 7, Data Element 8.
  4. Log into iOS Application as the same user, navigate to same Project/Shell > Same Business Process and note that the BP log displays Data Element 1, Data Element 2, Data Element 3 and Data Element 4.
