Record Status Not Being Updated Intermittently When Record Has Moved To Next Step Via Integration (Doc ID 2723858.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
-------------------------------

The record status is not changing based on the Project Integration Framework (PIF) rules hence the record is not being auto-created. This only occurs intermittently.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Customer expects the records to be moved to correct step with record status established in the PIF integration and then the Business Process (BP) record should be auto-created.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. User manually creates a BP record.
  2. The user advances the BP record until it is at a specific Workflow step where a certain record status is selected.
  3. PIF Integration checks for records in the specific step
  4. Then PIF Integration updates the BP where the specific current step name and the action name exist. The record then should move to the next step with a new record status.
  5. Sometimes after the Integration step that is supposed to move the record to the next step, the record status does not update as expected.
